We have a limited number of lock-ups in our buildings available for tool storage for an annual rental charge. If you are interested in renting a lock-up, please speak to a committee member.

Compost toilet

We have a two-chamber compost toilet on site, in front of the Seed Store building. At any one time, only one chamber is in use. Please do not put anything other than what comes naturally (and toilet paper or paper towel) into the toilet. At present, there is no need to flush or add any other material. Please leave the toilet as you would wish to find it.

For hand-washing, please use the bucket outside; liquid soap and paper towel are provided.

The urinal (behind the cafe shed) should be used by gentlemen whenever appropriate.

First aid

A basic first aid kit is kept in the wooden shed by the main gate. However, plotholders are responsible for their own safety. It is good practice to keep your own first aid kit on your plot.

Notice boards

The freestanding notice board near the main entrance gates contains permanent information notices posted by the Plotholders’ Committee.

In addition, notices are posted on the walls of the wooden shed by the main gates.

  • The short wall, immediately on your right when entering, is used for temporary official notices intended for the information/action of all plotholders. Please check this board regularly. You are deemed to have been informed of official matters by means of notices posted on the freestanding notice board or the wall of the shed.
  • The long wall of the shed is used by the Plotholders’ Committee for displaying any other matters of general interest to plotholders and for allotment-related notices from individual plotholders.

The notice board in the Seed Store cafe can be used by plotholders for general community notices.
